A Movie A Day Keeps The Zombies Away

After seeing the first official trailer for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, we in the Total Film office have been overcome with newfound nostalgia for Middle-earth. And from the sounds of what Peter Jackson has been saying on Facebook, we might be in for one more treat before Christmas…
Having already posted the new trailer on The Hobbit’s official Facebook page, the Kiwi director left an additional message on his personal page promising further goodies to come…
I saw 127 Hours a few months ago, and let me tell you, it’s definitely not a flop. I can see why you would be hesitant, how there’s just one main character, and that you might think it would be boring since it’s the story of a man being trapped in a confined space for multiple hours. But Danny Botle definitely helped with the creative aspect to keep the audience entertained while Aron Rhalston’s story is told. He uses flash backs to balance out the story line. Also, his camera angles are so vast that one can hardly be bored. It’s not just a monotony of the same camera angles over and over again, they’re from every angle you can think of which gives the audience a true sense of where Aron was trapped and the limited space he had to survive in. You should 100% see this movie, the feeling you get at the end of the movie alone makes me want to see it again. You get the feeling that you should do something great with your life and to cherish every moment until it’s too late. this movie is absolutely worth your time.
Hope that was a good enough review.
Yep! I’m excited cause I know it’s a fantastic film.
Besides the sex scene, there are some scenes that can be repulsive. There’s a part where the main character stubs her toe, which was pretty nasty, and also, she pulls a hangnail from her finger and she tears it back. Ugh, I can’t even type the sentence without cringing. It was nasty, I will never. ever. pull a hangnail back for the rest of my life.
But other than that there isn’t anything too graphic.
